Preferential Policies For Clothing Export To Laizhou

According to statistics from Laizhou inspection and Quarantine Bureau of Shandong Province, 1 batches of Korean clothing were shipped to Laizhou in 111 batches this year, with a value of 822674 US dollars, up 404.55% and 234.20% respectively from the same period last year, compared with the same period in Laizhou.

It is understood that making full use of the preferential tariff policy of the Asia Pacific Trade Agreement is one of the main reasons for Laizhou's clothing exports to Korea.

The Asia Pacific trade agreement has implemented a new round of tariff concessions. The scope of commodities and the scope of preferential treatment have been greatly expanded. The products that China enjoys preferential tariffs in India has expanded from the original 188 to 570 6 items. Korea has expanded from 227 6 items to 1367 10 items. Sri Lanka has expanded from 288 8 tax items to 427 6 tax items, and has added preferential duties to the 6 items of tax items in Belgium (according to the 2005 tariff).

Take the plastic toys exported to India as an example, the maximum tariff discount rate of the Asia Pacific trade agreement currently available is 43%, and the maximum discount rate for clothing exported to Korea is 50%.
