Who Is The Marketing Master Mao Chairman?
我是科班出身的营销人,从事专业十余年了;一直以专业人士自居,其实不乏学习能力。但最近却有点困惑。偶尔上网在专业的论坛里发现很多的理论、概念偶已经不明白了。什么“公关营销”、“慈善营销”甚至“地震营销”。什么都敢忽悠啊!起初有点自惭形秽,偶怎么进步这么慢呢?!慢慢考虑才明白:大家是以“简单问题复杂化”为目标;以市场细分、差异化甚至偷梁换柱等为手段,无非是在包装自己。
“把简单问题复杂化”作为专家们的营销手段无可厚非,但一线的营销从业人员就不能自我忽悠了,毕竟我们从事实际工作,事情的成败关系到我们自身的荣辱、信心及回报。
偶一直认为,营销人士分理论派与实战派。理论派负责把事情系统化、细致化;实战派负责把问题简单化、实用化。不是说理论没用:从菲利普·科特勒到唐·E·舒尔茨再到杰克·特劳特,这些高人们的东东还是很让人受用滴,至少提供了系统思考的框架。但思考归思考,考虑到系统化、细致化操作的成本,本土的营销还是务实点好。也即战略要清晰、一致;战术要简单、实用。这方面,我们伟大的领袖毛泽东再一次做了我们的榜样。
First of all, clear positioning.
当星星之火尚未燎原之时,老人家无意识的拿起STP武器(那时候菲利普·科特勒还没有出生)。第一步,进行市场细分(Segmenting),把中国分成7个阶级;再进行目标市场选择(Targeting):无产阶级虽然人数最少但最集中最有战斗力,据说还掌握着先进生产力,确定无产阶级是领导者;半无产阶级、小资产阶级(包括农民)人数最多,改变现状的要求迫切,是朋友;通过定位(Positioning)确定共产党代表工农的利益,军队是工农的武装。
诸葛亮未出茅庐便三分天下,是搞分裂的;老人家一篇文章就天下归一了!是搞统一的。《中国社会各阶级的分析》可谓市场营销分析的范文。偶以为比《隆中对》牛多了。
市场也定位了:谁是我们的朋友谁是我们的敌人谁是摇摆不定的中间派我们也明白了,怎么办?革命不是请客吃饭,要行动起来。老人家确定三个职能战略:
1, the Agrarian Revolution
营销的目的就是满足目标市场顾客的需求,马虎不得,靠忽悠是不能持续的;无论无产阶级还是半无产阶级都是缺少生产资料的阶级,所谓土地革命就是“打土豪、分田地”,把有产阶级的生产资料分给无产、半无产阶级,以满足他们的需求。
土地革命实际上是老人家的营销职能策略,在所有革命的职能策略中,土地革命是最重要的。没有这一职能战略革命就不能持续。就如同不能满足市场需求的企业没理由生存一样。
2, armed struggle
有市场就有竞争。现在还有某些行业竞争对手为终端一个产品展示、陈列位置大打出手,相互拍板砖、打群架。那时候更残酷,是真的要掉脑袋噢;竞争对手想搞垄断,叫嚣“宁肯错杀一千,不能放走一个”。没办法和谐,在血的现实面前,老人家不得不制定武装斗争的竞争策略。并且与第一个策略相辅相成:武装割据是为了保卫土地革命成果;土地革命又壮大了武装斗争的力量;武装力量的壮大又使土地革命进一步在更多的地方推广。这不,过了没几年,包括台湾在内全国人民都搞了土改。竞争对手终于学乖了,在共产党替它土改之前,人家自己在台湾把土地给分了,尽管有些“欲练神功,挥刀自宫”的意思,毕竟保住了最后的利基市场。前人不暇自哀而后人哀之,后人哀之不鉴之,亦使后人复哀后人矣!唉!定位错了那是真的倒霉啊!
3, United Front
统一战线实际上就是老人家的公关职能策略。企业具有社会属性,单能满足市场的需求是不够的;还得培养、呵护产品与企业的公众形象,加强与各级政府、行业协会、研究机构、股东等等利益相关人的密切联系,以协助企业的战略目标的实现。这次汶川地震后,王老吉的公众形象得到了极大地正面强化;而某些偶很尊重的顶尖职业经理人倒表现出不恰当的理性,影响了企业的形象。真正的公关还是要与民同哀、与民同乐,发乎心、止乎礼啊!

要打倒军阀,就团结国民党;要抵抗日本侵略,连国民党和军阀一块团结;要推翻国民党当权派,就团结国民党当权派以外所有的人。这样一来,不但像鲁迅老先生这样脾气不好、傲骨十足的士人心甘情愿的帮着摇旗呐喊;就是国民党的核心层在关键时候也纷纷弃枪乞降、甚至反戈一击。不但是策略啊,更多的还是胸怀!
The strategy is right, and the rest is tactical.
Looking back now, how concise and effective the tactics of the old people are! Contrary to what experts think, genius can always make things simple.
The old man said: the Red Army is a fighting team, a task force and a propaganda team. Let's talk about the task force and the combat team.
红军是工作队,做什么工作?建立、扶持基层政权,搞土改;对!重点就是这个土改。从江西到陕北再到东北,只要有喘息时间,就打土豪、分田地,搞土地改革;只要有土改就有根据地,有根据地军队就有战斗力。在江西搞了土改,武装割据很长时间;长征期间一路跑,没时间搞土改,就立不住脚;到了陕北又土改,就又有了根据地。在东北初期,没来及搞土改,又被人追着跑到了松花江以北。国军昏了头(军头们不了解共军的法宝),没有趁胜追击。让林彪有了几个月喘息时间,抓紧时间搞土改,就又有了根据地┅结果大家就都知道了。实际上土改是最简单有效而又实实在在的营销战术手段;不像三民主义中的民生,建铁路、修水利、发展民族工业等等,先进倒是先进,在当时的情况下对四亿农民来说显得空洞、渺茫而流于形式。不能说蒋老先生不爱国,专门祸国殃民,但战略不清晰,战术手段也缺失啊。
红军是战斗队,枪杆子只是政权的必要条件,但不充分。蒋老先生兵强马壮的不也失掉政权了吗?枪杆子还得看怎么用?还是老人家说的好:战略上藐视敌人,战术上重视敌人。怎么重视?
无论是游击战、运动战还是攻坚战,一句话:集中优势兵力各个歼灭敌人。这句话两个重点,首先是“优势”:兵力不比敌人多7、8倍这仗不应该打,胜所以胜;其次是“歼灭”,击溃战不能打,敌人跑了回来还是敌人,要打就是歼灭战,不是俘虏就是尸体,反正敌人是没了。
这种战术简单、易行,容易理解,在此基础上,再加上林帅这种军事天才的战术创造:什么四快一慢、三三制、两点一面等等,反正不把国民党那点家当折腾没不算完!
