In our daily work, we often use some office software (Microsoft Office and WPS Office) to make some documents, forms, presentations and databases. For the sake of confidentiality, we usually encrypt these files. 1、 Encrypt Microsoft Office files 1. Encrypt Word, Excel, PowerPoint files Encrypt these three types of files in a similar way, which can be achieved irregularly through the following two ways. Approach 1: option setting. In the above application software window (such as Word2002), execute the "Tool Options" command, open the "Options" dialog box, switch to the "Security" tab (as shown in Figure 1), set the "Open Permission Password" and "Modify Permission Password", confirm to exit, and then save the current document. Approach 2: save and encrypt. When performing "Save" or "Save As" operations on the above document (such as "Presentation"), open the "Save As" dialog box, press the drop-down button on the right side of the "Tools" button on the toolbar, select "Security Options" in the drop-down list that pops up, open the "Security Options" dialog box (as shown in Figure 2), and set the "Open Permission Password" And "Modify Permission Password", confirm to exit, and then save the document. [Special Reminder] ① According to the specific situation of your confidentiality, you can set only one of the "Open Access Password" and "Modify Access Password", or you can set all of them (the two passwords can be the same or different). ② For PowerPoint, encryption is only added in 2002 and later versions. ③ When using Path 2 to encrypt files, select "Security Options" in Word and "General Options" in Excel. 2. Encrypt Access database files Start Access2002, execute the "File Open" command, open the "Open" dialog box, select the database file to be encrypted, and then press the drop-down button on the right of the "Open" button at the bottom right corner. In the drop-down list that pops up later (see Figure 3), select the "Open in Exclusive Mode" option to open the corresponding database file. Execute the "Tools → Security → Set Database Password" command, open the "Password" dialog box (as shown in Figure 4), set the password, confirm to return, and then encrypt the open database file.
