勇于毛遂自荐　　一个好的雇员只会提建议是不够的，他有责任以自己的成就、才干、技能和潜力来吸引老板，因此，只要自己有能力，你可以大胆自荐，这样老板不会小看你。　　Ｂ君是一位年轻雇员，他要求见我，他信心十足地对我说：“先生，不谦虚地说，我觉得自己有能力承担更大的责任，现在，我一切都准备好了。”　　他的话言简意赅，还恰到好处，他强调自己愿意承担更多的工作，这也正是老板所期待的。正是借助这种方法，Ｂ君后来一步步地升到公司副总裁的职位，现在他有了自己的公司。　　你肯定听说过“机会只有一次”的格言，别信它，机会在不断出现，问题是它瞬间即逝。除非你确实知道自己力所不及，否则，就应该乐意去承担更多的责任，相信自己会得心应手，不要期待事情会变得完美无缺。　　你可能心里很害怕，暗自说：“我真的不行，现在都已经很吃力了，怎么还能承担新任务呢。”对于那些将要承担新任务的人来说，有这种想法很正常。试想，只要你会游泳，壮胆跳进水里，两腿狗刨式地蹬水，你很快就能学会蛙泳。

广交良友　　我不再重复强调搞好同事关系的重要性，最好的办法是广交朋友，别把关系限制在与自己层次相当的同事之间，如果你这样做，表明你已形成偏见，就是把管理人员当一派，把雇员当另一派。同时尽可能少发牢骚，牢骚只会消磨意志。即使真有怨言，也最好一次性发泄完毕，不要整天不停地唠叨，否则只会令自己终日闷闷不乐。　　你不必为提升而变成工作狂，但也不要把工作时间限定在“朝九晚五”的框子里。有时，如果老板有很多事，他希望雇员能全力以赴，夜以继日。“一日之计在于晨”，老板希望雇员每天早晨能精力充沛地投入工作，以完成当天的任务。
