Leather Footwear Products In Hunan Market Are Only Half Qualified

This time, 120 batches of leather shoes and sneakers were checked, and 69 batches were qualified. The pass rate was 57.5%, up 14.5% from the same period.
Chen Hongbin, deputy director of Hunan leather products quality supervision and inspection authorization station, said that although the pass rate has been improved, it is still at a low level overall.
The main quality problem of footwear products is that the folding resistance is not up to the standard, and the folding resistance is an important item to measure the quality of footwear products.
Footwear production enterprises are mainly concentrated in Fujian, Zhejiang, Guangdong and other provinces. Although there are some shoemaking enterprises in Hunan, the market in the province is almost impossible to find because of the small scale of production and the low grade of products.
"The problem of folding resistance of footwear products is not up to standard, but it is more prominent this year. 51 unqualified products are all the same problem."

The folding resistance should meet the standard requirements of QB/T1002-2005 or GB/T15107-2005.
Next, pay attention to the wear resistance of the outsole.
Wear resistance mainly reflects the wear resistance of the sole, and is checked by reference to GB/T3903.2 method.
There is also a look at the peel strength of the bottom. The peel strength of leather shoes is one of the important indicators of the quality of leather shoes or tourist shoes.
In recent years, consumer complaints about footwear are also caused by degumming.
Chen Hongbin also said that these seemingly professional indicators in the process of consumer shoes purchase can be achieved through the bending and folding of footwear products to get intuitive results.
