How can enterprises establish new advantages? In the first Asia Pacific Logistics and supply chain innovation and Development Summit Forum held in Xiamen in December 16th, Pei Changhong, director of the Institute of Economic Research of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, pointed out in a keynote speech that China's demographic dividend and low cost advantages may come to a close. Enterprises should make use of the value of the supply chain to create new advantages.

The competition in the future will be the competition of supply chain, and the innovation of supply chain will become a new direction.

"At present, the competition of international trade is no longer a single enterprise's competition alone, but more is the competition between supply chain and supply chain.

Nowadays, almost all multinational enterprises are stripping off non core businesses and integrating the entire supply chain.

This has greatly changed the way of international competition.

In his keynote speech, Pei Changhong pointed out that, at present, it is important to enhance the competitiveness of Chinese products and enhance the value of products in manufacturing links, but the importance of circulation should not be ignored.

Supply chain is to integrate different resources, make various division of labor arrangements, integrate different independent manufacturers into a supply chain and a value chain, so as to achieve optimal allocation, save costs and increase profits.

Chinese enterprises can make use of the value of supply chain and create new advantages.

In the keynote speech, Li Dongmin, chairman of Limited by Share Ltd of Xiamen Jiasheng supply chain pointed out that in the face of severe foreign trade situation, it is difficult for any independent enterprise to survive and develop. Therefore, only by cooperation can enterprises realize value added to win a win-win situation.

The core of value added is that enterprises should focus more on their core businesses, such as manufacturing enterprises concentrating on the manufacture of goods, and will seek market, logistics, liquidity acquisition, industry popular information collection and other work to supply chain service enterprises, so as to enhance the core competitiveness of enterprises.

What is supply chain?

The supply chain is centered around the core enterprise, through the control of information flow, logistics and capital flow, and from the purchase of raw materials, the intermediate products and final products are made, and finally, the product network is sent to the consumers by the sales network, which links the suppliers, manufacturers, sub distributors, retailers and end users into a whole functional network chain structure.
