Vietnam'S Leather Goods Exports Increased By 25%

According to the statistics of Vietnam's Statistics Bureau, Vietnam's total exports amounted to US $26 billion 800 million in the 1-7 months of this year, compared with us $22 billion 300 million in the same period last year.

In the 1-7 months of this year, Vietnam's leather industry exports amounted to US $2 billion 700 million, compared with us $2 billion 400 million in the same period last year.

Among them, leather products handbags, wallet and bags increased from $301 million in the same period last year to $375 million.

In July, the export of leather products increased significantly, from 50 million US dollars to 65 million US dollars in the same period last year.

Leather shoes exports increased from 2 billion 100 million US dollars in the same period last year to US $2 billion 400 million, an increase of 14.3%.

Footwear exports increased substantially in July, from $340 million in the same period last year to $4.1.
